FORTHCOMING EVENTS FOR 2026
Saturday 14th March 2pm -
Good morning , and Just a quick reminder that the Club are holding a Quiz and Bingo Social afternoon this Saturday at 2 pm where for just £3 admission ( less than a current scone at any of our 100 coffee shops in town ! ) you can leave the worlds madness behind on your tv and radio and join our company for an afternoon of quiz's and Bingo , and yes , it includes Tea and Biscuits !

Saturday 7th March 10 am - is the date of our next coffee morning , and as always everyone is welcome
With regard to the start of the outdoor season - 7 weeks on Sunday but who's counting - the 2026 Annual Fees are now due and can be paid to Laurence at the coffee morning at his "paying-in desk "at this weeks Coffee morning , so as well as a mornings company you can also have the added benefit of a guarantee of losing some winter weight as well ( but from your wallet / purse only I am afraid )
Saturday 28th February 6pm - The club are holding a fun "Race Night " as our next Social function , with Steve Wilson hosting and running the event on our behalf . If you would like to trot along you would be very welcome and the early signs are that the ownership of the runners are galloping off the shelves.
Odds are that it is going to be a good evening so please make a note in your diaries of the date
Saturday 7th February 10 am - is the date of our next coffee morning , and as always everyone is welcome
Saturday 6th December 2 pm - Christmas Social... the date of our Annual Christmas Social event is Saturday 6th December with a 2 pm start , and this years festivities centre around quiz's , competitions , our big Christmas raffle draw and a guest singer who comes highly recommended and is not to be missed. As in previous years there will be a Faith Tea and your contributions - but more appropriate , your presence and company - will be welcome
If anyone would like to come to the Social but are struggling for transport to and from the event , please let a member of the committee know and we will try our best to arrange a lift for you
Annual General Meeting Tuesday 18th November 7 pm .... the clubs Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday 18th November with a 7 pm start ; all members are invited to attend and an agenda will be issued in due course
Saturday 1st November - is the date of our next coffee morning , and everyone is welcome
Tickets for all of 2025 Socials will remain at the bargain price of £3 ... probably the only thing not going up this year because of inflation , Brexit or President Trump !
